CBD has made it's way onto menus at bars across the country. The relaxed state of mind that CBD produces can take unwinding with a cocktail after a long day to a new level.

Today we are bringing you 5 CBD-infused cocktail recipes that are delicious and complex yet accessible enough for the home bartender!

These recipes are brought to you in partnership with Seth & Emily of Inspired Spirits Consulting. Seth and Emily use our Hydro CBD Tincture in these recipes to create extremely delicious cocktails where the CBD completely mixes into the drinks and is readily absorbed for a perfect infusion!

CBD Infused Cocktail Recipes

With the introductions out of the way, it's time to introduce the drinks! Follow along where you'll find each drink recipe and a link to jump down to create the associated infused syrup:

Me & You Together

Whiskey Sour w/ Ginger/Apple Shrub & CBD Honey Pie Spiced syrup

Me & You Together Cocktail

  • 2.0 oz Bourbon (We will be using Mellow Corn)
  • 1.0 oz Apple Shrub
  • 0.50 oz CBD Pie Spice Syrup (see recipe)
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters, 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
  • Garnish: Thinly sliced apple on a cocktail pick

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full with ice, and shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a coupe, garnishing with some thin apple slices on a cocktail pick.


Of Crows & Crowns

Mezcal Margarita with Lime and CBD Infused Honey Pomegranate Syrup

Of Crows & Crowns Cocktail

  • 2.0 oz Mezcal (We prefer Vida by Del Maguey)
  • 1.0 oz Lime
  • 0.75 oz CBD Pomegranate Syrup (see recipe)
  • 2 Dashes of Fee Brothers Cardamom Bitters
  • Garnish: Dehydrated lime wheel or lime twist

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full with ice, and shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass on a large ice cube, and garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel or lime twist.


I Knew You Before

A fun and healthy spin on a Daiquiri/Daisy using Green Tea and Passionfruit

I Knew You Before Cocktail

  • 2.0 oz Silver Rum (We prefer Plantation 3-Stars)
  • 1.0 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.50 oz Passionfruit Juice or Nectar
  • 0.75 oz CBD infused Green Tea syrup (see recipe)
  • 2 dashes of Orange Bitters
  • Garnish: Lime Twist

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full with ice, and shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a Nick and Nora or a large coupe, and garnish with a lime twist.


Goodness

A modern take on the classic Tom Collins

Goodness Cocktail

  • 2.0 oz Vodka or Gin (We prefer Four Pillars Gin, or Nikka Coffey Gin)
  • 1.0 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz CBD infused Pomegranate Syrup (see recipe)
  • 3.0 oz Seltzer
  • Garnish: Large Lemon Twist

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled 3/4 full with ice, except the seltzer, and shake for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a Highball/Collins Glass and top with seltzer (for a fun spin, try it with Fevertree Elderflower Tonic instead). Garnish with a large lemon twist.


Old Man Winter 2.0

Old Man Winter Cocktail

A seasonal interpretation on a Classic Old Fashioned

  • 2.0 oz Rye Whiskey (We prefer Highwest Double Rye or Fort Hamilton Rye)
  • 0.25 oz CBD infused Pie Spice Syrup (see recipe)
  • 2 Dashes of Old Fashioned Bitters
  • 1 Dash of Plum Bitters
  • Garnish: Orange Twist and Brandied Cherry

Stir in a mixing tin filled 3/4 full of ice for 25-30 seconds until properly diluted and chilled. Strain into a Double Old Fashioned on a large ice cube. Garnish with a thick orange switch and a brandied cherry on a cocktail pick.


Infused Syrup Recipes

Each syrup recipe contains roughly 10.5 servings of water-soluble nanoemulsified CBD sourced from our Hydro Tincture. You are encouraged to adjust your dosage as needed.

CBD Infused Simple Syrup

This base syrup recipe isn't used in the featured drinks here, but we wanted to include it in case you wish to make a syrup without the added flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup Sweetener of choice (Raw, Demerara, White, Brown, Honey, or Agave)
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1/3 of a 250 ml bottle or 83 ml of Big Sky Botanicals CBD Hydro Tincture

Instructions:

  • Bring water to a simmer and stir in sweetener of choice, until fully dissolved. Simmer on medium-low for approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm. Add the CBD Hydro Tincture, and stir until fully combined.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Separation is normal, just shake before use. However, any cloudiness or carbonation is not normal, so if it is cloudy or fizzy, please discard it.

CBD Green Tea Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup Raw, Demerara, or White Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 3 Green Tea Bags
  • 1/3 of a 250 ml bottle or 83 ml of Big Sky Botanicals CBD Hydro Tincture

Instructions:

  • Bring 0.5 cups of water to 170 degrees (just below boiling), and steep green tea bags, essentially making a strong cup of green tea. The tea flavor should be prominent, but not bitter.
  • Remove the tea bags, and bring the strong green tea to a simmer in a pot, and stir in sugar until fully dissolved. Simmer on low for approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm. Add the CBD Hydro Tincture, and stir until fully combined.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Separation is normal, just shake before use. However, any cloudiness or carbonation is not normal, so if it is cloudy or fizzy, please discard it.

CBD Pomegranate Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup Raw, Demerara, or White Sugar
  • 0.5 cup POM Pomegranate Juice
  • 1 tsp Raw Honey
  • 1/3 of a 250 ml bottle or 83 ml of Big Sky Botanicals CBD Hydro Tincture

Instructions:

  • Bring the pomegranate juice to a simmer and stir in sugar until fully dissolved. Simmer on medium-low for 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm. Add the CBD Hydro Tincture, and stir until fully combined.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Separation is normal, just shake before use. However, any cloudiness or carbonation is not normal, so if it is cloudy or fizzy, please discard it.

CBD Pie Spice Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup Demerara or Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • Whole Spices (any or all of the following):
    • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
    • 2 tsp Cloves
    • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg (1/4 nut, roughly chopped)
    • 1 tsp Whole Allspice
    • 2 tsp Fresh Ginger root (1/2 inch, shredded)
  • 1 Orange Twist
  • 1/3 of a 250 ml bottle or 83 ml of Big Sky Botanicals CBD Hydro Tincture

Instructions:

  • Bring water to a simmer and stir in sugar until fully dissolved. Add spices to the pot, be sure to use whole spices. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes, until the desired flavor is reached.
  • Remove from heat and let cool until lukewarm. Strain solids from syrup and add the CBD Hydro Tincture, and stir until fully combined.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. Separation is normal, just shake before use. However, any cloudiness or carbonation is not normal, so if it is cloudy or fizzy, please discard it.
