A federal law enacted in mid-November 2025—part of the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act—has effectively banned full-spectrum CBD products by imposing a new, drastically low limit on total THC content.
While the 2018 Farm Bill originally legalized hemp products containing up to 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, this new legislation completely overwrites that standard that led to the rapid growth of the CBD industry. The key change is a hard cap of no more than 0.4 mg (milligrams) of "Total THC" per container for all consumable hemp products.
This 0.4 mg limit applies to the entire package, not just a single serving. This creates a mathematical impossibility for full-spectrum CBD products. Even the trace amounts of THC in these products easily exceed this new limit.
Even though these products do not get you "high," they are now classified as non-compliant under federal law. The entire industry is currently waiting on the FDA for official, specific guidance on these new rules.
The legislation includes a one-year implementation period. While the law passed in November 2025, the ban will become legally enforceable in November 2026. Although our full-spectrum CBD products remain safe, effective, and highly popular, this federal mandate forces us to discontinue them.
At the current time we continue to sell full-spectrum products, though will comply with the ban as it comes into effect. Until then, the 2018 farm bill appropriate information and products still appear on the website.
We anticipate selling out of our remaining stock soon - we strongly encourage you to stock up on your favorite full-spectrum formulations while supplies last! And don't worry! After full-spectrum is gone, we will still be selling high-quality THC-free broad-spectrum formulas.
