Is the company producing the product to be trusted?
First and foremost. I spent 35 years selling ingredients to food manufacturers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and to supplement manufacturers.
My first, and biggest, concern was whether I could be assured that the product was what it was supposed to be and at the strength it was supposed to be. The supplement industry has a reputation that some manufacturers are one step away from the old snake oil companies.
My research showed me that Big Sky Botanicals are producing what they say they are producing and have the QA folks on board to insure that they will continue to produce a quality product that meets their specifications.
I got the 750 mg bottle, along with the free samples.
I'm 73 and have aches and soreness. My biggest concern was sound sleeping. I currently am taking a branded drug to help with my sleeping. Due to the fact that the drug is one that you wean yourself off of, I have been taking about 20 mg. and have already weaned myself off of 20% of the drug. The CBD oil appears to be working well. If I can eliminate 100% of the other drug, I will then be off of a drug that is known to be addictive.
Bottom line. If you're looking for help resolving sleep issues, I would recommend giving CBD oil and this company a try.

Great product! I tried a few brand before BSB and none of them quite did it for me. BSB is by far the best! It helps me with anxious feelings, stay focused, and sleep better! This also helps with digestion and as someone with a gluten intolerance, it has been very helpful. I love it!

AMAZING customer service, great product if you're scared of planes.
I’m a big bad scaredy cat who’s terrified of flying. I’m talking white knuckles gripping the seat and hyperventilating every time there’s turbulence. It’s not fun sitting next to me on a plane.
My buddy asked me to be a groomsman in his wedding, and the only way to get there was to board a big metal tube and go screaming through the sky – in other words, spend four hours contemplating plummeting to a fiery death and show up a complete mental wreck. So, I decided to give CBD oil a try based on some research papers I read and some anecdotes from my friends. Big Sky was highly recommended by my friends and reviews on reddit, so I placed an order for the broad-spectrum CBD oil.
I’m a biochemist, so I’ll add that due to some backwards thinking by the industry I work in, it is vitally important that I take something with no THC in it. I called up customer service and Vince, one of the co-owners, personally walked me through how the THC is removed from the broad spectrum oil, and how lab tests are carried out to verify. As a scientist, I really liked how transparent he was with everything.
My flight was coming up and with all the craziness going on in the world, my shipment got delayed by USPS (through no fault of Big Sky). I called them again to see if they knew where the CBD oil was hung up at and Vince went out of his way to overnight me a bottle so I’d have it in time for the dreaded voyage. He definitely didn’t have to do that!
Anyway, the CBD oil completely saved the day. Only about 30 minutes after I first took it on the way to the airport, I noticed a sense of calm washing over me. For the first time in my life, I was able to fly somewhere without experiencing abject terror and dread. I even opened the windows, looked out at the sky and the mountains, and took pictures. Normally the thought of doing that makes me want to vomit.
Fast forward, I’ve been taking CBD oil every day. I’ve noticed great improvements to my mental health, sleep, focus, and ability to process the helter-skelter demands of my job.
I’ve convinced other family members to give CBD oil a try, and Vince has helped me once again to pick out the best formulation for each of them. They’re all noticing positive, lasting effects as well!
Sorry for the essay. I can’t say enough good things about this company and their customer service. I tried other CBD oils, even tried making it myself just for the fun of DIY, but none have compared to the quality and duration of Big Sky’s products. Call me a corporate shill or whatever, but I’ll be a customer for life.

Good product, bad flavor
If you had a natural flavor option of this, it would be awesome. The tincture worked well, but tasted bad. The price was also a little high for the amount of cbd you get.

This product worked well. I did take off a star because there was only one flavor option for the broad spectrum and it was a very intense orange flavor. I appreciate that it was made using orange essential oil but it tasted like really intense orange essential oil for quite a while in my mouth. Other than that it was great!

Great Product!
I’m really happy I decided to try this product, and Big Sky Botanicals has been great! I’ve been taking the 750mg tincture twice a day - a half dropper in the morning and a half dropper in the afternoon. I can pretty confidently say it has helped level off my stress and anxious feelings to a manageable level. About a week after my second order, one of the founders of the company called me to check in and make sure their product was meeting my expectations. Wow!

Third time is the charm
I read a LOT and tried two other suppliers before Big Sky. I really like the professionalism of the company, the transparency, and the mostly reasonable pricing. It works in an odd way to help my sleep, by minimizing my aches and soreness (I'm 70) so that I can gogogo all day and fall asleep normally. I love the orange flavor.

I’ve ordered from ~a dozen CBD suppliers in the past year. My specifications are: hemp-derived full or broad-spectrum formulations; easily accessible COA for each batch; choice between full and broad spectrum, each in a variety of delivery formulations (preferably with non-sweetened, non-flavored oils/tinctures available); non-detectable levels of delta-9THC in broad spectrum formulations; brand or seller commitment to sustainability.
I chose Big Sky Botanicals because it fit my buying criteria and came highly recommended from fellow CBD users. I had a great experience with my first 750mg tincture—so much so I reordered within 2 weeks and purchased the higher strength tincture as well. This is one of the best CBD products I’ve used (and I’ve used a LOT of them). Highly recommend.
The *only* change that would take this from a 4 to 5 for me is the flavor. The tincture tastes of citrus/orange oil. I think some might enjoy or even prefer this to the taste of natural hemp oil, but I wish the tinctures were offered in a “plain”/“natural” flavor.

1500 tincture
I have tried the 250 and 1500 tincture and the hydro. I have had good results with all the big sky products, but I do prefer the tincture over the hydro. The 250 tincture is super mild and the orange flavor really comes through. The 1500 is more economical though, so I tried that in my next order. It still has the orange flavor, but the bitterness of the CBD comes through more. Nothing terrible! Just more pronounced :). I feel like the effectiveness of the tincture vs hydro is very comparable, but I just really dislike the taste of the hydro and the tincture is more economical.

Good Taste, Works like a Charm
This sucker chills me out and works exactly the way you'd expect a CBD tincture to work. When I do my little dropper, brush my teeth, and then crawl into bed; by the time I pull the covers over my chest I feel like an anchor sinking into the mattress- perfect.

CBC Tincture 1500mg
I have been using the 1500mg for many months now. I am sleeping better and have seen an improvement with some dry skin and other problems I was having. I believe that once all the studies are completed, CBD oil will become a very important part of the medical needs of many people.
